These tips for hiring a contractor to work on my home answered a few questions I had. When I was first considering who I should hire, I felt that I needed several price estimates from contractors in my area. Mentioning that it’s best to get estimates from at least three different contractors was really helpful. This will help narrow down the list of choices since I have more than ten contractors in mind to possibly work on my house. Thanks for the tips!

I am in the process of looking for a general contractor for some home improvements. I like how you mentioned to never pay the contractor in full at the beginning. I think paying in steps this will ensure that they do good work and will finish the job. I will definitely do this when I hire my contractor. Thanks!
