Although our policy applies to all users of our site, please note that loan availability is limited to qualified individuals on U.S. properties.
What personally identifiable information we collect and how it is used:
We only collect the necessary personally identifiable information in order to respond to your requests for our customized products and services. Personally identifiable information includes, but is not limited to, first and last name, zip code, email address, phone number, and any other information that itself identifies or when tied to the above information, may identify you as a specific individual.
You will be requested to provide certain personally identifiable information on the following parts of our site:

When you visit our site, our systems log some basic and anonymous information about your computer for routine website maintenance, including:

Compliance with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule:
We do not knowingly collect or allow minors to use our services. Use of, or disclosing personally identifiable information from anyone less than 13 years of age. If we determine upon collection that a user is under this age, we will not use or store their Personal information without the parent/guardian’s consent. If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected Personal information from a child under the age of 13, we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information from our records.
Patriot Act Disclosure:
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities (AML), Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. This is known as a Customer Identification Program (CIP). What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
Security:
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure an encrypted manner. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or look for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
Sharing your personal information:
When you submit a loan application, the information provided is stored in our databases and processed only by our employees. An employee will contact you via telephone to confirm receipt of your online loan application and send you additional documents, via postal mail, to facilitate the funding of your loan. Our employees may also disclose certain information to our authorized agents to obtain the following services:
- Automated credit check reporting
- Loan underwriting
- Title searches
- Mortgage insurance
- Appraisals
- Settlement company information
In some circumstances, we may be required as part of the loan funding process to contact certain third parties, such as your employer or financial institution, to obtain independent verification of various loan related information. After our authorized agents receive your information, they may contact you directly.
We are required by federal and state banking regulations to collect certain information on the online loan application. In addition, we will disclose information collected to our authorized agents in order to independently verify and process your loan application. The use of credit report information obtained by us and our authorized credit reporting agencies is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We will also disclose the name of the lending institution to the consumer in the loan details section of the search for rates results page.
As certain aggregate information must be reported to state and federal regulatory agencies, we cannot process any requests to delete loan application information from our systems, regardless of whether the loan is funded or not.
California Do Not Track Notice:
Under California law, website and online service operators are required to disclose how they respond to web browser “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection and storage of personal information about a consumer’s online activities over time and across third party websites, to the extent the operator engages in that collection of data. At this time, we do not track our customer’s personal information over time and across third-party websites and therefore this requirement does not apply to us. California law also requires website and online service operators to disclose whether third parties collect personal information about their user’s online activities over time and across different sites when the users use the operator’s website or services. Third parties that have content or services on our site such as a social feature, analytics service, or an advertising network partner, or affiliate may obtain information about your browsing or usage habits but this information does not include personal information. We do not knowingly permit such third parties to collect any personal information from our site unless you directly provide it to us and we provide it to them with your consent.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
This POLICY FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS supplements the information in our privacy notice and applies solely to California residents (“California Consumer” or “you”). A business that collects a California consumer’s personal information must inform consumers as to the categories of personal information to be collected and the purposes for which the categories of personal information shall be used. Any terms defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”), Cal. Civ Code § 1798.100 et. seq., have the same meaning when used in this notice.
Under CCPA, California residents have the right to know about information collected disclosed or sold, the right to opt out of the sale of certain information, and a limited right to have businesses delete information a business has collected about the consumer. These rights extend only to California residents and information covered by CCPA. Because CCPA does not cover all consumer data in all situations, only certain consumer data subject to these rights.
Other laws may govern data we gather about you or you provide to us including, but not limited to:
- Information to or from a consumer reporting agency if that information is to be reported in, or used to generate, a consumer report as defined by subdivision (d) of Section 1681a of Title 15 of the United States Code, and use of that information is limited by the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. Sec. 1681 et seq.)
- Information collected, procured, sold, or disclosed pursuant to the federal Gramm–Leach–Bliley Act (Public Law 106–102), and implementing regulations, or the California Financial Information Privacy Act (Division 1.4 (commencing with Section 4050) of the Financial Code). NOTE: Any personal data collected in relation to a mortgage application is exempt from the consumer rights to know, delete and opt-out created under CCPA because this information is governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the California Financial Information Privacy Act, Books and Records FIN § 22156, or other state and federal laws which exempt this data from CCPA.
Information We Collect:
Lend Plus (“Company” or “we”) collects information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or device (“Personal Information”). As described above, not all of the Personal Information collected below is subject to CCPA. All Personal Information collected pursuant to this notice that is subject to CCPA is collected for a Business Purpose and may be shared with service providers if necessary to perform a Business Purpose. We may have collected the following categories of personal information from consumers within the last 12 months:
- Related services may include, but are not limited to real estate services, insurance, escrow and other closing services, notary, appraisal, other consumer credit services, home warranty, and other services related to home purchase, home ownership, or related consumer transactions.
- While we do not sell your data, we may share that data with our joint marketing partners who include financial services providers, realtors, builders and other residential real estate companies. This sharing is done pursuant to federal law and is exempt from the California state requirements under CCPA.
Except as provided above, the Company has not disclosed or sold any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding 12 months.
Rights under CCPA:
Right to Know About Personal Information Collected, Disclosed, or Sold. California consumers have the right to request that a business disclose what personal information it collects, uses, discloses, and sells.
Right to Request Deletion of Personal Information. Under CCPA, you may have the right to request the deletion of your personal information collected or maintained by the Company.
Right to Opt-Out of the Sale of Personal Information. Under CCPA, you may have the right to opt-out of the sale of their personal information by a business. Note that as defined in CCPA, the Company does not, and will not, sell your personal information.
Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights. Under CCPA, you have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment by the Company for the exercise of the privacy rights conferred by the CCPA.
Lend Plus intends to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Instructions for Submitting a Verifiable Consumer Request to Know, Delete, or Opt-Out:
For a request to be acknowledged, you must either fill out our CCPA web form or call our toll-free number at (800) 379-1328. After submitting a request, we will verify your identity by matching the identifying information provided by you to the personal information already maintained by us, or, in cases where your request requires a higher degree of certainty; we may use a third-party identity verification service or ask for a photo ID or for more information. Any information you provide us that is not already in our system will be deleted after your request has been fulfilled.
Compliance with State and Federal Laws:
This privacy policy may not constitute your entire set of privacy rights, as these may also vary from state to state. To be certain of your privacy rights, you may wish to contact the appropriate agency in your state that is charged with overseeing privacy rights of consumers. Certain regulations issued by state and/or federal government agencies may require us to maintain and report demographic information on the collective activities of our customers. We may also be required to maintain your personal information for at least seven years in order to be in compliance with applicable federal and state laws regarding recordkeeping, reporting and audits.
Opt Out for Affiliate and Nonaffiliated Third Party Sharing of Information:
Once you are a customer if you prefer that we not disclose your nonpublic personal information to our affiliates and/or nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of such disclosures by following the Opt-Out procedures included in this Notice. Please note that, even if you direct us not to share information with our affiliates, we may still share your information with our affiliates as permitted by law, for example, to process transactions or to service your account. Moreover, we may also share certain other types of information with our affiliates, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address and account number(s), and information about your transactions and experiences with us.
Changes to this Privacy Policy:
At our discretion, we will update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in our policies and practices. By electing to become one of our customers, you agree to receive copies of our Privacy Policy and any amendments to it unless you notify us in writing at the address below. With respect to how we use your personally identifiable information, we’ll email you the amended policy 30 days before it shall take effect.
